Denver’s Christkindlmarket is an authentic German-style holiday market, host to local and European craft and food vendors and a wide variety of entertainment. It’s hosted by the German-American Chamber of Commerce, Colorado Chapter. Picture yourself getting a steaming mug of hot chocolate, hot cider, or spiced wine and wandering among the booths, exploring woodencarvings, cozy knitted wear, and holiday treats. Our favorite part is seeing families with small children tasting the excitement of the season. On November 30, the Saturday after Thanksgiving, Planina will take the Festival Hall stage at noon and perform holiday and non-holiday songs from Belarus, Bulgaria, Croatia, Georgia, Hungary, Poland, Russia, and Ukraine, and from Jewish traditions.
